Who we are
The Fisher Companies consist of ten separate companies, located throughout the state of Michigan and Kentucky. Combined, we specialize in heavy/highway civil contracting services, heavy-haul transportation services, asphalt paving and production, and ready mixed concrete production. We are also leading producers and suppliers of sand, gravel, bulk construction aggregates, and more.
This variety of in-house resources and capabilities allows each of our companies’ strengths to be harnessed. From this, we are able to provide our customers with the best solution for their project needs.
At each of the Fisher Companies, we remain true to the same principles on which the companies were founded on starting nearly 100 years ago: providing superior service and quality to our clients, working toward 100% customer satisfaction, putting safety first, acting with integrity, and strengthening our communities. These qualities unite us as one company, and guide every aspect of our businesses, within each of the Fisher Companies’ operations.
THE FISHER FAMILY
The Fisher Companies are a four generation, family-owned organization, and are proud of their contributions to both their communities and the construction industry. The Fisher Family strives to maintain a reputation of exemplary integrity, hard work, respect for their employees, customers, and the public. They will continue to give selflessly of their time, talents, and resources to improve their industry and community.
COMMITMENT TO SAFETY
The Fisher Companies are sincerely concerned with the safety of each and every employee, as well as the protection of the property of our companies, our customers, and the general public. We have developed, promoted, and are instilling a safety culture in our employees with several goals in mind – keeping accidents to an absolute minimum, to conscientiously maintain shop and work areas, and to ensure mechanically-sound equipment and tools.
Notice
The Fisher Family uses the term “Fisher Companies” as a term of art that is useful when discussing issues, such as safety, that are important to all of the companies. It is important to remember that the ten companies are completely separate businesses, legally incorporated under the laws of the State of Michigan.
