INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY HELP DESK TECHNICIAN
Fisher Companies, LLC is now hiring an Information Technology Help Desk Technician to provide tech assistance throughout the companies' numerous Mid-Michigan locations. The Fisher Companies are comprised of several construction-related operations, a golf course, and more, with Michigan locations in Mt. Pleasant, Midland, Bay City, Alma, Clare, and also Franklin, KY.
The Fisher Companies have been proud members of the Mid-Michigan Community since 1925.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:

Serve as the first contact with customers (Employees) who need technical assistance, via the phone or email

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues

Provide quick resolutions and excellent customer service
-
Follow-up with customers (Employees), as needed
-
Maintain technical documentation and a service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware, and problem troubleshooting

Keep record of problems and their resolution
-
Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
-
Provide needed information on IT products or services
-
Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of Support Personnel
QUALIFICATIONS

Have an in-depth knowledge of computer systems and mobile devices

Hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-oriented and patient
